§ 38-154. Findings of fact.

  • (a)

    Excessive and unnecessary noise interferes with the quality of life and the health, safety and general welfare of the public.

    (b)

    In particular, excessive and unnecessary noise can and does cause adverse psychological and physiological effects in humans, inefficiency, accidents and other undesirable and dangerous conditions.

    (c)

    A substantial body of science and technology exists by which noise may be measured and substantially abated.
