§ 78-34. Location and construction of tanks into which city water is discharged.

It is required that tanks into which water furnished by the public services department is discharged shall be at such a distance below the discharge pipes so that at no time can the water in such tanks rise to such level as to come in contact with the discharge pipes. The installation shall be so constructed that the outlet of the discharge pipes meets all requirements contained in the city's manual of cross connection control.
