§ 18-16. Procedure for appeals of decision of enforcing authority and review of challenges to local technical amendments to the Florida Building Code.

(a)

Unless otherwise provided for herein, appeals from the decision of any of the enforcing authorities provided for in this chapter shall be to the city commission in accordance with the applicable Article and provisions therein.

(b)

Review of any local technical amendment to the Florida Building Code adopted by the city pursuant to Section 553.73, Florida Statutes, that is challenged by any substantially affected party shall be reviewed by the Building Code Compliance Review Board solely for the purpose of determining the amendment's compliance with Section 553.73(4), Florida Statutes. Appeals of the decision of the Building Code Compliance Review Board shall be to the Florida Building Commission.
