The contractor, the owner or his agent, upon completion of a building or construction
project, shall immediately remove all walkways, debris and all other obstructions
and leave such public property in as good a condition as it was before work was commenced
and shall replace all broken curbs, sidewalks or other damaged public utilities or
property to the satisfaction of the public works department prior to obtaining a certificate
of occupancy/completion or within 14 calendar days from notification if no certificate
of occupancy/completion is issued. Failure to correct damaged public property will
result in the city taking action to make corrections and all costs incurred will be
charged to the property owner and/or contractor, and a lien will be placed against
the property for the costs of repairs.
