All landscaping shall be designed and located to provide a logical, consistent, and
attractive pattern of landscaping that softens the as-built environment, provides
visual relief, separates different land uses, eliminates or minimizes potential nuisances
or adverse impacts such as dirt, litter, or noise and assists in reducing air pollution
hazards. Except as provided in this article, the landscaping design standards, requirements,
and regulations set forth in division 3 of the design standards shall apply to all
properties within the commercial corridor.
