Any special exception granted by the planning and zoning board under this division
shall expire 365 days after the effective date of such action unless the provisions
of the special exception are adhered to within such 365-day period. However, upon
application, the planning and zoning board may renew such special exception for one
additional period of 365 days, provided good cause is shown, and the application for
extension shall be filed with the planning and zoning board at least two weeks prior
to the expiration of the 365-day period.
