Upon receipt of an application for a license required under this division that is
properly filed with the city clerk and upon payment of the application fee, the police
chief shall verify the information required by section 10-65. The public health department, the building department, the zoning department and
the fire chief shall investigate the premises for compliance with this article and
other applicable laws and regulations relating to construction, safety, fire protection,
zoning and public health. At the conclusion of its investigation, each administrative
agency shall endorse on the application the results and findings thereof, recommending
either approval or disapproval of the application.
