§ 102-64. Rules of interpretation; compliance.

  • (a)

    If not specified otherwise, the owner of property upon which a sign is located will be held responsible for compliance with this chapter.

    (b)

    For political signs, the violation will be construed to have been made by the individual affixing the sign, the candidate whose name or picture appears on the sign, or the campaign organization of the candidate.

    (c)

    If a conflict occurs between the sections of this chapter with those of any other city ordinance as pertains to signs, this chapter will prevail.

    (d)

    Any dispute or ambiguity concerning the interpretation of this chapter shall be resolved by the city manager, subject to appeal of this decision to the city commission.
