§ 102-62. Revocation of permit; appeal.

Latest version.
  • (a)

All signs, together with their parts and support elements, are to be painted and otherwise refurbished as needed or as required by the building official. Failure to maintain signs in a presentable and safe condition will be sufficient cause to revoke the permit and require removal of the sign.

    (b)

The building official is authorized and empowered to revoke any permit issued by him upon failure of the holder thereof to comply with any section of this chapter.

    (c)

Any decision or action made or taken by the building official pursuant to this section may be appealed in writing to the city commission within 90 days after any such decision or action, and the action of the city commission upon such appeal shall be final and conclusive. Failure to remove the sign will constitute a violation of this chapter unless an appeal has been filed with the commission within the 90 days.
